Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Pellegrini’s team always looked like it was missing pieces of the jigsaw and I also think it was deliberate to get the owners to spend the real sorts of money needed……he didn’t come back to the PL to do a budget job that’s for sure….he only does that at Latin clubs where he knows technically the players are good and available for a reasonable price, in the PL you need in the main the top ones to at a top price to succeed

I can't stand how that fucking Haller thread keeps reappearing every time he scores. FFS, let it lie.

But I would be interested to hear Pelegrini's take on what went wrong in his time at West Ham. Anyone know if he has said anything?

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
The less said about Pelligreenie the better he was fucking pathetic for us.
Don’t get me started about the lazy,French cunt Haller who’s attitude fecking reeked.
He’s score per game ratio was about 1 goal in five appearances useless fucking prick.
I don’t think there’s a player I’ve been more delighted to see the back of.
All the divs on here saying we should have “built” a team to play around him can fuck tight off.
History proves don’t ever trust a French cunt.

Well certainly Dawson has been the best value for money signing in my book since Vaz Te. £500K welll spent.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Seeing as Haller played at least 45 mins in all of the last 10 games before he was sold it's not like he was frozen out by Moyes. Also, it's not like our form improved drastically when he left. It did for a while when Lingard was on fire but then dropped when he wasn't. We actually got more points per game in Haller's last 10 games when he was playing regularly than we did overall for the season.

Actually you may be right, it's open to interpretation as he joined both times when flirting with relegation. And both times some big names left shortly after

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!

I thought Rice was referring to Moyes first spell before Haller and Anderson so probably referring to Arnautovic and Chicharitio among others?

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
He actually named them both and said that?

Moyes played both of them when he first came. Haller played until he was injured.

I think he played a season with Real Valladolid and promptly got them relegated, gph.

Now he doesn't even appear on their subs bench.

Not 100% sure about Roberto's younger self, but it's difficult imagining the player we had doing well anywhere.

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Fraser. He more or less called out Haller and Anderson in the G Neville interview, said they thought they were too good for a relegation battle, when Moyes came in second time he said anyone that thinks they're too big for the club can leave and won't be playing any further role

I didn't mean you 360, just the people that feel the need to mention every time he scores

What has Rice said about Haller?

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
not really going on about Haller.
Everyone knows how much I wanted him gone.

Its just making the point that so many people cant see that whether its bringing in Moyes or letting go of "top striker" its all about finding the right fit. Its not really an appraisal on how good or bad anyone is. Everyone can be really good in a particular context.

I wonder for example if we were offered Ronaldo, would we actually be better? Would it fit our team right now? Its not always about how good things are on paper.

I recall when someone on here (goose iirc) was up in arms about sacking Pellegrini.

Seriously thought he was gonna turn it around 😂

Re: Pelligrini, Haller and Moyes.. All doing well!
Can't we stop going about on about Haller, it was pretty much confirmed by Rice this week that he was toxic in the dressing room and as soon as we got rid we started playing a lot better. No room for people that think they're better than the club.
